The Licensed Vintners Association (LVA), the representative body for publicans in Dublin, has noted the measures being proposed by the Green Party in relation to containing the spread of COVID-19.
At this sensitive time, the LVA believes that the responsible and rational advice from the Chief Medical Officer and the Expert Advisory Group should be followed. As the experts in this field they, and not any political party, are best placed to advise the course of action for the country during this difficult period.
The LVA notes that the Government has consistently adopted the advice of the Expert Advisory Group and believe this approach should be maintained.
The LVA will continue to fully abide by the guidelines and advice set out by the Government, based on the recommendations from the Expert Advisory Group.
