Managing Your Kitchen –Â Seminar Description
Driven by both regulations and the demands of customers, every publican appreciates the importance of high standards of regulatory compliance in kitchens. In addition, the reputational damages to business arising from closure orders, though rare, can be catastrophic.
The LVA is organising a special ‘Managing Your Kitchen’ seminar to help members improve how they manage their kitchens. We have assembled a top-class line-up of speakers, each with specific areas of expertise of direct relevance to the management of every pub’s kitchen.
EHO Lisa Fitzpatrick will provide a clear view on the performance of food businesses generally, from the inspector’s perspective. She will outline the EHO’s powers of enforcement and illustrate, in practical terms, what businesses typically do well, and poorly, in terms of compliance with legislation. She will offer some observations on improving future performance.
The Food Safety Company’s Mary Daly will speak of their experience and expertise in assisting pubs achieve high levels of compliance efficiently.
Finally, with employee liability claims on the rise, and kitchens being the location of many employee claims, Jacqueline McCarthy will focus specifically on Health & Safety in pub kitchens.
