Before being an owner of pub I loved Keohe’s on South Anne Street. Once I was in the snug, I wasn’t moving. Now though, I love christmas drinks down the road in Lemon&Duke. The energy around that time of the year is electric. I want  to do a shift on Christmas eve too in there to get caught up in the spirit of Christmas.

I’m a whiskey man. If it’s Irish, currently I’m loving what the Teelings brothers are doing. Midleton and Yellow Spot are my other go to drinks. Outside that, Japanese whiskey please!

These days, I much prefer drinks in The Bridge 1859 or my local Mulligans of Sandymount. On the rare occasions I do float into town, it wouldn’t be uncommon to find me in Peruke & Periwig, Anseo, Bruxelles or the Jar.

2015, celebrating the 6 nations with the Ireland squad upstairs in The Bridge 1859.

Iconicity and stories.
