Insurance claims continue to be a problem for pubs throughout Dublin.
Indeed it is a problem that is impacting the whole hospitality sector, a problem the LVA has worked with the Alliance for Insurance Reform to highlight. Our efforts to get greater protections from the Government and to help stamp out insurance problems are ongoing.
In the meantime we also wanted to organise an event that would help our members minimise risk in their premises.
That is why we have organised a special meeting which aims to ensure you and your staff are well briefed on how to handle claims. The briefing will take place on Wednesday 13th November 2019 in the Radisson Blu, Golden Lane, Dublin 8. The briefing will start at 10.30am and run until 12 noon.
A number of expert speakers will be on hand to provide attendees with the latest on insurance related issues. All have wide ranging experience of public liability claims in the licensed trade. This will include speakers from Allianz, FBD and Nathanial Lacy & Partners Solicitors
The full list of topics to be covered is as follows:
- Minimising Risks in Licensed Premises – FBD
- Managing Claims in Licensed Premises – Allianz
- Some legal considerations – Nathanial Lacy & Partners
- Q&A
Tickets will cost €25, with all proceeds going to the LVA Benevolent Fund. The event is only open to LVA members and their senior managers.
